The Workshop

Painting by Cynthia HargravesThis workshop will cover mastering methods of successful design and composition in placing people in different settings such as cityscapes, landscapes or settings of your choice etc. A strong focus will be in seeing the basic shapes of your subjects using lighting and shading techniques and converting photographs into successful paintings.

This workshop provides simple steps in mastering putting people in paintings. It covers the different actions these people may be engaged in as well as the highlights in various scenes. You will find yourself more confident and excited about making your paintings more interesting after you do this workshop as we engage in the body language which your people will so identify with.
