ART FESTIVAL

Maryborough has been making History for 160 years and the Art Society has been part of it for 55 years
Enter a painting or two in the awards, or join a WORKSHOP
While you attend a Workshop, and there are ten to choose from, your spouse can soak up the ambience of Maryborough, visiting ten museums or one of the fifty plus Restaurants and Cafes and Pubs.
There are sections for children and young people to enter art work,
or have fun at Workshops in Circus training or Drama for them
Workshops
Maxine Thompson will Tutor Two separate workshops. 2 Days of Graphic Graphite, and 4 days of Pastels.
Jenni Kelly will also Tutor two classes, of 6 days in two consecutive weeks Keith Norris will Tutor in Watercolour and Drawing.
Glen Gillard will work with Traditional methods in Oils or Acrylic.
Elaine and David Coggins will Tutor Mosaics for the creative
Joyce Mc Cohan will show you how to write your Memoirs
Michael Fix will be here for the performers, with his Guitar Power
Jack and Debbie Bradford will Give the young ones confidence and Drama experience
Spaghetti Circus will be back to really get the kids into exercise as well as fun

Evening entertainment
- Saturday 5th July - "Mix and Mingle, Meet the Tutors". After your class at about 4.30 we will meet at a venue to be announced for Wine and Cheese. Bring your friends, family and spouse.
- Sunday 6th July - Keith Norris will hold a Chroma Demonstration. He will hold you spellbound with what he can do with a few tubes of paint. This demonstration will also be at Warehouse Gallery.
- Monday 7th July - Pub Night at Federal Hotel, in Kent St. Come, bring your friends and share a social evening with fellow students. Bistro meals available if required.
- Tuesday 8th July - International Soup night - Join the fun at Bottlebrush Craft Centre (at Ferry St. opp Lammington Pub), where you get to taste all sorts of exotic soup, plus a few local ones. Pay $12 and take the hand made ceramic bowl home as souvenir.
- Wednesday 9th July - Display night of work achieved by visual art students and tutors at Warehouse Gallery. 5pm to 7pm Sausage Sizzle. Bring the family.
- Thursday 10th July - Grand Finale Concert by the performing arts students and tutors.

and the Official opening and Prizegiving will be at 7pm 30th June 2008
at City Hall.
